Antique and Vintage Desks


A few days ago I had the perfect day! Some friends of mine, Cathy and Guy Avis, hung out at my shop all afternoon and played with milk paint. I met them through my aunt and they generously offered to let me stay at their home for a couple weeks until I found an apartment. Well, I never left and a couple weeks turned into a couple years! Fast forward 30 years and now Tyler is married and has his own children, Zakk and Drew. Quite some time ago Cathy and Guy bought two antique school desks they wanted to paint for their grandchildren and we finally set a date to play paint. Neither of them had painted furniture before and they were thrilled with the results!
